This Privacy Policy describes how Strike Go (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from strikego.com (the "Site") or use the Strike Go mobile application (the "App").

 

1. Collecting Personal Information

 

When you visit the Site or use the App, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support.

 

A. Device Information

 

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: Version of web browser, IP address, time zone, cookie information, what sites or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.

  • Purpose of collection: To load the Site accurately for you, and to perform analytics on Site usage to optimize our Site.

  • Source of collection: Collected automatically when you access our Site using cookies, log files, web beacons, tags, or pixels.

 

B. Order Information

 

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: Name, billing address, shipping address, payment confirmation details (excluding full credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.

  • Purpose of collection: To provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, and screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.

  • Source of collection: Collected from you.

 

C. Strike Go Ring & App Data (Technical Data)

 

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: Ring UUID (Unique Identifier), device pairing status, token status (active/suspended), and basic app usage logs.

  • Purpose of collection: To enable the functionality of the Strike Go ring, troubleshoot connectivity issues via NFC, and manage the lifecycle of your payment token (e.g., suspending the ring if lost).

  • Important Note on Banking Data: Strike Go does not store your banking credentials or full credit card numbers. Payment data is handled via Tokenization. When you add a card to your ring, the data is encrypted and transmitted directly to Fidesmo Pay and your card issuer. We only retain the metadata required to identify the token (e.g., last 4 digits, expiry date of the token) to display it in the App.

 

2. Sharing Personal Information

 

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

  • Shopify: We use Shopify to power our online store. You can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

  • Fidesmo: To enable contactless payments on your ring, we utilize services provided by Fidesmo. Technical data required to provision the payment token is processed by Fidesmo in accordance with their privacy policy.

  • Fulfillment Services: We share your name and shipping address with our logistics partners to deliver your order.

  • Compliance: We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

     

 

3. Behavioral Advertising

 

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For example:

 

  • We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site.

     

  • We may use Facebook/Meta Pixels to retarget users who have viewed specific ring variants.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

 

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you, to port it to a new service, and to ask that your Personal Information be corrected, updated, or erased. Your Personal Information will be initially processed in Ireland and then will be transferred outside of Europe for storage and further processing, including to Canada and the United States. 5. Security & Tokenization

 

The security of your financial data is paramount.

  • Online Store: All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.

  • The Ring: The Strike Go ring uses a secure element (SE) chip, similar to those found in chip-and-pin cards. Your actual card number is replaced by a unique digital identifier (a "Token"). This means your real card details are never exposed during a transaction, and if your ring is lost, the token can be deleted without cancelling your physical bank card.

 

6. Retention

 

When you place an order through the Site, we will retain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Technical logs regarding App usage are retained for a shorter period to assist with debugging and improvements.

 

7. Changes

 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
